THE TERRORISTS ARE HERE!

The time has come for our leaders in Washington D.C. to wake up and get down to business.  Many if us have been screaming this for 8 years and last Tuesday September 11, 2001 just proves that we have been right!

We can’t blame the Liberals, the Leftist media spin doctors for what happened last Tuesday, but, we can blame the keepers of the flame in the White House and Capitol Hill!

The first assault on the Twin Towers should have been sufficient to get improved intelligence started in the Pentagon.  Now that the Pentagon has been hit, maybe someone will wake the hell up and do the job!  Don’t rebuild the damn thing until a commitment is made to tend to business!

I am raging mad at my representatives for not taking the time and making the effort to see that bin Laden would never strike another American building or kill another American anywhere in the world.  I have been trying to figure out just exactly what was more important than the safety of the citizens of the United States?

Many of us out here who are news freaks have read over and over of the threats made by China, Afghanistan, Colombia, Libya, Iran, Iraq, Palestine and North Korea.  Writers all over the internet have suggested that unless we are careful many of these countries could band together and wipe us out!  I don’t think sending tax money to any of these countries is a smart idea but our government believes that it can buy friendship from any renegade third world country, so they relax and work only on their campaigns. 

Fund raising for campaigns and messing with the ladies seems to have taken priority over our safety and I am raging mad!  Gary Condit is on the Select Intelligence Committee and that alone is enough to get my goat!  We know what took his mind off the security of America and I wonder how many more of those skirt-chasing Congressmen and Senators were too busy bonking the ladies instead of doing the job they were elected to do.  Send Condit to Afghanistan and tell him to…..(fill in the blanks)

Clinton was a poor example, but that is no excuse for the lax attitude that has been apparent on Capitol Hill for too damn long.  

I want some changes made now!  I want security to be trimmed to a fine and accurate group of dedicated Americans who have the safety of every citizen of this country in their minds.  

Last month I flew into Reagan airport from Phoenix and was shocked to see that we flew over the capitol, mall and the white house, the Washington and Jefferson Monument.  I always thought this was a no fly zone!  Nope, I was wrong.  What’s going on here?

I want the Congress to dig into the Immigration and Naturalization Service and demand that they get their data base up to date and open for the other agencies to check on the movements of people entering America.  While they are at it they should be able to keep track of the new citizens so the Registrar of voters in the counties can determine who is eligible to vote!

I want the Congress to guarantee that every person hired to work in the federal offices has a security clearance.  This used to be standard procedure for years, why get lax now?  If this can’t be done, fire half the employees until it can be done!

Tuesday through Saturday I was in a deep depression that the losses were so great.  I woke up this morning furious knowing that it could have been prevented.  I have been in a rage all day hearing about this call to war that is all over the television, internet and newspapers.  I don’t want a war!  I want some action from my legislators that this will never be allowed to happen again.  

We know where bin Laden is as he has been interviewed by several journalists in the last few months.  Wake up Washington DC.  Go find a group to take him out!!! I don’t want to hear that this is not the American way.  Twin Towers is not the American Way!  I want my revenge but not at the loss of a single American soldier.

Send a few of those lazy Senators to the Taliban and bring bin Laden back with them.  When I watch our house and senate in action arguing about this social issue and that vote, I get physically sick.  Is this what the American government has become in the last 50 years?  Fire the bastards!
