An Open Letter to the Republican
National Committee, January 2010 Is
there anyone who is involved in the RNC who can tell me what the hell you are
doing to the GOP? How can Americans
stop this assault on our financial problems when not a single protest came
out of the RNC on this subject when President Bush 41 and 43 were destroying
the individual freedoms of the American people? Since
the end of WW2, there has been the assumption that the American people were
too stupid to understand their freedoms.
It was first the threat of Communism and then it morphed into a movement
of Fundamental Christian threats. The
GOP became the party of threats. The
solution was to bring the fear of hell and damnation into building an Empire
over world and for the use of the American people. The Birch Society opened the door and many Republicans
blindly bought the whole thing. What
on earth brought out the One World Order Empire plan under Bush 41? He ran on NAFTA and lost…Did nobody notice?
Did nobody listen to H. Ross Perot on the growing debt and deficit? Where
was the focus within the RNC? How
could the Republican Party walk away from such a loss? Is this the point that the religious right
took over the agenda and began to build a large federal government to serve
Jesus Christ instead of the people?
Was it Clinton’s bopping of his intern that redesigned the RNC to
finally remove the plans for a downsized federal government and turn it into
a plan to penalize the habits and vices of the people? Did
the RNC search through the GOP until they found their Christian leader in
Texas? A man who claims to be a born
again Christian? He promised faith
based grants to the churches and brought millions of Americans who had
separated their church and state and found their plans for a Christian
America. This plan had been rejected
by the GOP for years as the separation should be respected. In doing this, one half the Republican
Party was no longer to be members. I
was told myself at a Arizona State Republican
conference that unless I was an active Christian, I had no place in the
GOP. I was not a new Republican and
had worked for Ike all the way up to and including Ronald Reagan for Governor
and President. e proH Who
set this new agenda that took away half the party and keep half the Americans
away from even considering a Republican candidate? Women, gays and alternative religions; all
banned. The
GOP under another Bush 43 who ran as a Christian suddenly filled his cabinet
with not only incompetent Republicans but a level of corruption not seen
since Nixon. Most politicians are
corrupt and operate as individuals out for their own power but not all should
be told a series of lies after 9/11 and forced into acting as if this all was
true. It was as if the Congress on
both sides of the aisle became doped or in a mass near-coma and followed
President Bush 43 off a cliff as if they were nothing but lemmings. Was
I wrong in believing the GOP had some strong representatives of individual
freedoms under a limit government?
Where were the brains of the GOP?
Even up to this date of 2010, the GOP will follow a blow hard radio
comic and an Alaskan ex-governor who they respect as they are too stupid to
see her for what she is. Her only good
quality is that she makes the Republican Party look smart. She is the epitome of what an American
is. She thinks like a Christian and an
average uneducated illiterate Republican.
This
would not be a disaster except it leaves America with a bright man who is
determined to redistribute the wealth in America and destroy Wall
Street. He has continued the same
spending spree as the previous president.
Our coffers are empty and yet the spending continues to the point
where the American people cannot afford to help our Haitian neighbors to the
south. The war based on lies still
goes on and the American people do not have the jobs to afford to pay the
taxes on this situation. Between
Presidents Bush and Obama we are dead broke, without jobs and in a deep
emotional depression without any end in sight. I
know one thing. The Republican Party
is dead as the American people do not want a religious police state. The government cannot undo the damage that
the failed families have brought onto their children. The schools failed to teach the values of
America’s culture. The religious right
has only the fear of hell and damnation to use against their congregations
and the new generations will never buy it as my generation did. What
do we do now? Is it too late to start
the next generation to base their politics on a cleaner level of integrity? Do our teachers and family members even
understand integrity? Have we bent
over to the ministers and priests and told they can handle values and all the
family has to do is to financially support the churches or have we bent over
the televisions buying the sex filled crap that they sell? Will
we be left with a single party running America? We must know that there is no “other side
of the aisle” in Congress anymore.
There are members of “C” Street of Fundamentalists who run only on the
word of Jesus and live and preach above the laws in our Constitution. They look good and sound like the best
trained actors out of the Actor’s Studio.
They come out of Central Casting and are well trained to sell the
downfall of individual freedoms and replace them with making crimes out of
our vices. The GOP has become the
party of the snake oil salesmen. In
America people laugh at the thought of a third party. But possibly when there is only one
political party and one religious group, it might be the best idea not to
vote. If people want a religious
nation, they have their party all set and ready to go. If people want the freedoms in our Bill of
Rights there is no place to go. Sandra
