Open Letter to the Republican National Committee

In 2008 Tim Morgan of the above organization, wrote and asked me why I was no longer a Republican.  I answered him clearly and as precisely as possible.  I also told him that due to the changes in the RNC agenda, the Party would lose the White House, the House and the Senate; I explained why. 

The Party of Reagan’s first term is gone.  It was replaced by a born-again Christian who used terrorism to promote his plans for a One World Order that lost his father his re-election in 1992. The Republican Party had been reorganized under the concept of a limited government and individual freedoms and the election of Bush 43 was aimed at the Evangelicals who had never voted as a bloc in the past.  Many of us shuddered at the promise of the prohibitions banning abortions, gay marriages and stem cell research.  These were choices and Bush wanted to mandate bans against them.   

Did the GOP not understand that prohibitions of sins do not work and that the 18^th Amendment was quickly repealed?  In 2000 the average voter base had a high degree of ignorance and simply followed their Ministers and Priests on how to vote. 

2008 was a different set of voters.  8 years of the fear of terrorism from Islam and Christianity took a toll on the Americans.  No more of this nonsense.  Had we believed that Bush 43 told the truth, we only had to ask why the borders were still open.   

The RNC is still hopped up on mandated prohibitions and will become a very weak third party.  I kept my notes and lists of my memberships since 1954 when I turned 21 and those of us who are still voting are now classified as Independents finding the GOP far out from what we want in the Federal Government.    

We will have an Independent National Committee in the near future!  Are we evil and wicked?  Hell no! We are ex Republicans searching for our individual rights under the U.S. Constitution.
