I'm Closing up my Website

My political opinions are no longer relevant to many people in the last 6 years. It is a waste of time and effort to try to continue to promote individual freedoms in America. The American people would rather ask Washington D.C. to direct their personal lives and decisions and that is the end of the line for my commentaries.

I made a huge mistake as a child and read the books of George Orwell, H.G. Wells, Jules Verne along with the early science fiction writers who warned the readers of giving away their own personal choices to an over-powering government.

We read the stories of creatures from other universes who were superior to our own species and easily took over our planet for various reasons. Being a believer in evolution I wondered if we homo sapiens have reached our limits of development and it might be time to realize we could no longer exist with these limits.

Did our last generations suddenly stop exercising our brain functions and simply cease development? Did our religious leaders feel that further examination into our species would be dangerous and tend to make their Gods look rather silly and foolish?

Instead of working to increase the membership under each of these Gods, did we focus more on destroying the Gods of others and forget to recognize our own? We have seen every major war on this planet caused by one God trying to take over another. Christians and Jews have been fighting Islam for 1400 years. That is when Christians and Jews were finished fighting each other. Have these massive religious movements simply stopped our brain development and we have reached the limits to our growth? The internet has shown me that this is the case.

Politically, Americans have stopped growing as individuals. The list of prohibitions waiting for Washington D.C. to legislate is enough for me to quit. I cannot tolerate the threat that America will give up our state's rights to a dictator who is posing as a Theocratic Conservative. If it is not President Bush it will be his clone chosen by the religious right.

I'm going on strike and am giving up writing anything having to do with American values.
